Are cartoons real? Are they alive? What about you and I? Do we even exist? In an age where our peers, teachers and coworkers may only be pixels on a screen, how can we say they're any different to cartoons? Rent Free follows Janey's journey to social media stardom whilst she grapples with what it means to be a figment of someone's imagination. This is an upcoming multi-faceted experimental project that blurs the line between fiction and reality.

 

I hope to capture the lives of my characters Janey, Niko and Charlie through a variety of techniques, across multiple social media platforms. Expect a healthy dose of cartoon logic and meta mindf*ckery.
